Claude Pro · October 30, 2026 · Pricing page · medium impact

Individual Team & Enterprise API

The pricing text drops the word "Developer" from the API line, changing "Individual Developer Team & Enterprise API" to "Individual Team & Enterprise API." The document also removes two mentions of "Claude Code included" and a standalone "Individual" line. The wording now omits any mention of Claude Code being included with Claude Pro, which may mean it is no longer advertised as part of this plan, though the diff alone doesn't confirm whether the actual access has changed. The API wording change may affect which plans or access levels the pricing text describes. Before your next renewal date, check the current Claude Pro pricing page or your plan details to confirm whether Claude Code is still included and what API access applies to your plan.

If you choose to allow certain services to process data from other services, including for features such as Personal Intelligence, the same data may be used to personalize your experience.

Google's privacy document now says services like Search and Gemini Apps may access data from your other Google services, such as Photos, Gmail, and Drive, to personalize your experience, if you allow it. It also adds a Personal Intelligence feature, where, for example, Search could use booking details from an email to suggest things to do near your hotel. If you turn on these data-sharing options, Google services can use content from Gmail, Drive, and Photos to tailor results and suggestions, which goes beyond the activity-based personalization described before. The document says Gmail, Drive, and Photos content still won't be used for personalized ads unless you choose to share it with services that support them, but the settings you choose control how much of your data is shared. Before your next Google One renewal date, review your Google account's data-sharing and personalization settings, including any Personal Intelligence options, and decide which ones you want turned on. You can also read the linked Personal Intelligence page to understand what each setting does.

If you elect to participate, we may disclose limited information to Glance to verify your eligibility, provide you with your earned Verizon Dollars, and for customer support.

Verizon's privacy policy, updated October 2026, adds a new section on the Glance lockscreen app, which Verizon Dollars participants can use to earn rewards. It also updates opt-out and privacy-request instructions for Visible Merch, Straight Talk, and SafeLink, and it now describes incentives as including loyalty programs. If you take part in Verizon Dollars through Glance, Verizon may share limited information with Glance to check eligibility, pay your rewards, and provide support. If you consent, Glance may also collect and use personal information, including sensitive personal information, for purposes such as interest-based advertising under its own privacy policy, and you can stop participating by uninstalling the app. Before your next renewal or if you use Verizon Dollars or Glance, read Glance's privacy policy and decide whether to opt in, and use the 'Your Privacy Choices' links for your brand to review your options.

YouTube Premium · October 8, 2026 · YouTube Terms of Service (applies to all YouTube use, including Premium) · medium impact · Historical, imported

If we make material changes that negatively impact your use of the Service, we’ll provide you with reasonable advance notice, except in urgent situations such as preventing abuse, responding to legal requirements, or addressing security and operability issues.

The company providing the service changes from Google Ireland Limited to Google LLC (a US company), the minimum age for using the Service drops from 16 to 13, and the promise of advance notice for changes that hurt your use no longer mentions a detailed email or your right to end the contract. YouTube's licence to your content also broadens to cover promoting and redistributing the Service, and it can now be sublicensed and transferred. If this applies to you, your contract is now with a US entity, and YouTube has wider rights to use content you upload, including for promotion. You still get advance notice of harmful changes, but it may be less specific and the explicit right to leave over those changes has been removed. Before your next renewal date, check your account email for any change notices and review the new licence if you upload content, and you can export your data at any time with Google Takeout. This is general information, not legal advice, so a qualified lawyer can advise on your specific situation.

In some cases, depending on your personalization settings like Personalized Recommendations in Search services, areas that you have searched from in the past may be used to estimate a relevant location for your search.

The policy adds more detail on how search and activity data is saved to your Google Account through Search Services History and Web & App Activity, and how personalization settings like Personalized Recommendations in Search services affect results, feeds, and AI responses. It also removes the dedicated European requirements section, including the rights and data controller details for EU and UK users, and renames the controls section to Personalization and Activity Controls. If personalization is on, places you've searched from in the past may be used to estimate a relevant location for your searches, and more of your search and app activity may be saved to your account and used to personalize results. If you're in the EU or UK, you may no longer find the rights information you relied on in this policy, so check where it now appears. Before your next Google One renewal date, open My Activity and Personalization Settings in your Google Account and review whether Search Services History, Web & App Activity, and Personalized Recommendations in Search services are turned on, then adjust them to match your preferences.

Google also collects and uses data that is not associated with your account.

The privacy policy now says Google collects and uses data that isn't tied to your Google Account, such as information stored with identifiers for your browser, app, or device when you're signed out. The rewrite also expands how search history, personalization, and activity controls work, and the European-requirements section and its legal-basis table were removed from this version. If you use YouTube Premium while signed out or across devices, Google may keep usage data linked to that browser or device and use it to personalize your experience and ads, even without an account. The removed European section means EU and UK users will no longer find those rights details in this document, so the wording of your local rights is harder to check here. Before your next renewal, open My Activity and Personalization Settings in your Google Account and set the history and personalization controls the way you want, and check whether any EU or UK rights information you rely on is available in another Google policy page.
