Google's Cloud privacy notice was rewritten in Korean with a stated effective date of April 8, 2026, replacing the earlier English notice. The new text adds details on which services it covers, GDPR and EU/UK/Swiss rights, data retention periods, and the sharing of service data with third-party providers and marketplace apps. The quoted sentence says Google does not sell your service data to any third party. Service data can still be shared with trusted providers that work for Google, or with third-party apps and services you or your organization choose to buy or enable, so the 'no sale' promise does not mean no sharing at all. Before your next renewal, read the full notice on the effective date and check whether your organization has signed a supplemental addendum, especially if you use Workspace for Education or third-party Marketplace apps. Then confirm the sharing and retention terms match what your team expects.
